About Thrive

'Our homes can be as a finely tuned instrument, singing like a symphony, co-ordinated as an orchestra.'

Hello there, I am Fiona and I run Thrive Household Services.
I love cleaning people’s homes as, for me, it’s almost akin to healing. The benefits of a clean home are multitudinous, from greater focus to living more harmoniously.
An essential aspect of my approach is the ongoing work and studying I do with Anna Hunt (annahunt.com), in the art of developing clean energy, both for myself and in people’s homes. It’s an ongoing journey but brings greater focus, energy & efficiency to my work. My aim is to help people flourish in their homes and, by extension, life.
I have an Honours degree in Philosophy from Glasgow University. In the years following, I had various posts from managing a restaurant to fundraising and admin for charitable organisations, some events organisation & walking extensively in the Spanish Pyrenees, not to mention working at a Basque farm school, to add to the variety.
After meeting my partner and having two wonderful children who are now teens, I felt the need for more dedication, singularity & autonomy in my work. Cleaning ticks all those boxes since it provides scope for constant improvement & refinement in techniques, tools & approach to the task of creating a bright & sparkly, tidy & orderly home.
